This Watchman pendant is hand-carved in yellow cedar by Haida artist Leon Ridley.
Watchmen are the posted lookouts in a village whose responsibility it is to warn and protect the village from intruders and enemies.
The pendant, excluding the bail, measures approximately 2 1/4 inches or 5 3/4 centimeters high, 3/4 of an inch or 2 centimeters wide, and 1/2 of an inch or 1 1/4 centimeters thick.
A silver chain is not included but can be purchased separately .
