This Butterfly Bentwood Box is by Tlingit, Tutchone, and Tsimshian artist Kiri Geen. It was made in 2021 of red cedar and painted in teal and red acrylic. The lid features an intricate beaded design including glass, plastic, 3 turquoise with pyrite, and 2 tiger's eye beads.

The Butterfly symbolizes transformation, metamorphosis, beauty, balance, and grace.
