Product Description

This Salmon Head Pendant is carved in Argillite, with one Abalone inlay and an inlay with 11,000 year old Mastodon Ivory. It has silver inlayed all around the outside of the pendant. It is carved by the Native Artist Darrell White from the Haida Nation.

The Salmon symbolizes abundance, fertility, prosperity and renewal. For thousands of years, Salmon have been the primary food source for Northwest Coast Native Americans and are highly respected.

The pendant is 2 inches or 5 centimeters long without the silver bail, up to 1 3/8 of an inch or 3 1/2 centimeters wide and a little less than 1/4 of an inch or 1/2 a centimeter deep.

A silver chain is not included but can be purchased separately
