This unique Eagle Panel is hand-carved in live edge yellow cedar by artist Trevor Hunt from the Kwakiutl or Kwakwaka'wakw Nation. It is accented with two inlays of abalone shell and two onlays of copper.

The Eagle Symbol is known as “The master of skies” and is a symbol of great significance. He is believed to be the creature with the closest relationship with the creator. Soaring to great heights, he can travel between the physical and the spiritual world. He is said to be a messenger to the creator.

The panel measures about 27 1/4 inches or 69 1/4 centimeters high, 17 1/2 inches or 44 1/2 centimeters wide, and 3/4 of an inch or 2 centimeters thick.
