This Watchman Pendant is hand-carved in argillite by Haida artist Gryn White. It features one inlay of abalone in the eye.

Watchmen are the posted lookouts in a village whose responsibility it is to warn and protect the village from intruders and enemies. 

The pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches or 6 1/2 centimeters high, 7/8 of an inch or 2 1/4 centimeters wide, and about 3/16 of an inch or 1/2 of a centimeter thick.

A chain is not included, but a silver chain can be purchased separately .
