Product Description

This Haida Love Birds Bracelet is hand carved in sterling silver by Garner Moody from the Haida Nation.

The Raven Crest and the Eagle Crest represent two important crests of which many family members of the Northwest Coast First Nations are one or the other. This bracelet symbolizes love and harmony between all people.

The Eagle Symbol is known as “The master of skies” and is a symbol of great significance. He is believed to be the creature with the closest relationship with the creator. Soaring to great heights, he can travel between the physical and the spiritual world. He is said to be a messenger to the creator.

Mischievous and curious, the Raven plays many important roles in Pacific Northwest Coast Culture. For some, he symbolizes creation, transformation, knowledge, prestige as well as the complexity of nature and the subtlety of truth. He also symbolizes the unknown and shows that every person sees the world in a different way.
